How is the SteelShack delivered?

The SteelShack can be delivered fully assembled or as a flatpack. As a flatpack, it’s transported in a van and assembled on-site. If you’re a bit of a DIY enthusiast, you have the option to assemble it yourself. Alternatively, for an easier experience, you can let us handle the assembly for you

On what surface can it be installed?

The SteelShack can be installed anywhere, provided there is a solid floor or foundation. It must be securely bolted to the ground. For installations on soft ground (e.g., grass), we recommend foundation ground screws or creating a concrete slab measuring 2.5m x 1m. Our team is available to assist with this process.

Can the SteelShack be relocated?

Yes! This is a standout feature compared to a garden room. If you're renting, it enhances otherwise unused outdoor space. It's fully portable, you can disassemble and relocate it when you move. Should your circumstances change, you also have the option to sell it on.

How much space is required?

When fully extended, the SteelShack covers 8.5 m² (90 sq ft), with dimensions of 260 cm wide, 340 cm deep, and 250 cm tall. We recommend installing it against a wall to optimize space usage. Ensure there is adequate clearance at the front for easy access and smooth operation of the front doors.

Is the SteelShack a patented design?

The SteelShack design has been filed for patent. SteelShack is a registered trademark in the UK.

Where can the SteelShack be installed?

It can be installed in virtually any outdoor location, provided there is a minimum of 10m² (approximately 2.5m x 4m) of available space. The space-saving design opens up a myriad of installation possibilities. Suggested locations include: back gardens, front gardens, rooftops, workplaces, parks and recreational areas, apartment complexes, sports facilities, schools, clubs, hotels and resorts, community centers, and more.
